Definitely, the theme of the album was inspired by Aall & Create challenge - Europe. Thank you ITAC'17 for making me begin a looooong overdue project :)

Its been 5 years since I was last in Europe but I still remember those beautiful, huge doors we saw all over Austria & France. Ooh la la those vintage colours & textures! That's what inspired me to try and recreate a window on an old wall.

12x12 scrapbook layout
I used a Gel Press to create the background and of course used my favorite 2crafty chipboards & Colourarte paints with the beautiful Maggie Holmes pattern papers.
'Wings' made me want to try something very different, something I had never thought or tried before - using a gel press to make the background of the layout. The soft colours & the madonna like image made me want to choose this photo of mine with my kids. Brushes ofcourse to splatter & paint all over the page & background.

Linking this with Mixed Media Place challenge. The beautiful flowers, swing, winding road made me think of outdoors and cycling. I feel beautiful within when I also feel strong and that made me use a kite for this journal page.
