Hello peeps,
'Hints of Spring' goes live on MMCC today.
Its the first day of Autumn in Australia, but I'm very happy dreaming of Spring.... Lol. Not a fan of winter.
My card this month uses lots of wet medium in the background. So, the base is watercolour paper. First some pieces of leftover tissue stuck with multi medium; then some paints. Once dry, on went texture paste through a stencil. Then drying time again followed by clear / white gesso followed by paints and stamping.
Its the drying time that tests my patience, one of the reasons I don't like winter, my pages will take forever to dry in between steps. Anyhow, here is the final card. The watercolour base is mounted onto a pearl card. I painted the edges of the card in bright pink, to match the colour of the ribbon.
Head over to the MMCC blog to see the beautiful spring cards that the rest of the Design Team have created.
Beautiful mixed media card, Kripa
