(VIDEO): Beginner Mixed media scrapbook layout

Hello peeps,

Spring has definitely brought my creative mojo back atleast for now. I tried my hand at the Kraftit up Challenge this month with an over the top (from my standards) A4 scrapbook layout. One of those layouts that I just went with the flow.

Vivid Ultra Metallics: Majestic Blue, Teal Zircon, African Jade, Sunflower, Ginger Peach, Pink Azalea

Twinkling H2Os: Pink Cloud, Sea Glass, Bashful blue, Chiffon Pink

(VIDEO): Gratitude Art Journal Page

Hello friends,

Today, my project is an Art Journal page made for Words and Paintery September reveal.

You can make any mixed media project to participate in this challenge. Use both the wording & colours to inspire your work.

 

This is another spread in my altered book which is a collection of memories and letters for my kids. So, it was only apt to have something about our everyday life. This is definitely one of the most satisfying and meaningful pieces of work I've done this month.

I found a whole heap gratitude journalling prompts on Pinterest and chose one that worked for me. The left page has a shaker sleeve made with WRMK fuse tool attached on one side. Underneath it are the remaining two sentences : "I felt joyful when..." & "My favourite part was..." and a small note for my kids about finding delight in everyday moments like a morning cuddle, an unexpected kiss or a quiet afternoon in the park.
