This is the card I made for my DT post at Lulupu - Dry Embossing with a tutorial on how to create the dry embossed background using a Crafters Workshop gears stencil.
I've combined Prima Cartographer, Printery and Kaisercraft Timeless for this card. The base and two Manila tags were gessoed, embossed and inked with a dozen brown, black and yellow distress & archival inks. The butterflies are from Kaisercraft Timeless. Never thought grunge was so much fun :)
Entering this into
Color Conceptions Challenge - Dry / Wet embossing
Beyond Grey Challenges : Bingo
Dots on the base Prima paper, mostly covered by the gesso and inks
Butterfly - Two of them used
Mists - to make splatters and also colour the cheese cloth
Sentiment - cut out from a Prima paper
So vintagy Kripa. The butterflies are beautiful!
